2 Fingers @ Goodbye Summer – Hello Autumn!

Following a sensational summer of collaborative outdoor shenanigans, Acoustic Sunday returns on 4th October to it’s spiritual home inside The Crypt, De Beauvoir for you to tuck in to an afternoon of cosy autumnal auditory action!

This month’s line-up as ever includes an awesome array of original and ground-breaking artists, amid diverse incarnations of free-form dance, ‘London’s original fish finger bad boys’ – 2 Fingers and an abundance of lightly spiced Caribbean style punch – with some serious rum and ting!

Joining us will be the likes of Diligent Indolent aka Ben Tannahill who doles out unpredictable progressive folk to surprise and delight; Lucy Evans brings a sound inspired by the city with powerful yet delicate vocals; Debt Collective create rhythmic harmonies with influences from Ireland to China, expect a mix of non-traditional and Blues infused melodies.

In search of the Holy Grail that is the Ultimate Fish Finger Sandwich Experience, 2 Fingers is back in residence showcasing their latest menu, including the daddy of all fish burgers, The Cod Father, alongside The Tenna’ – double decker decadence Po$h Fish Finger Sandwich heaven. And for those of you keeping your carbs low, Just Fingers, that’s right you guessed it, all the 2-fingered-licking fun, minus the bread! Sweet treats come in the form of a retro classic – Oreo Cheesecake.

Wet your whistle with Acoustic Sunday’s Sensibly Priced Pop-up Bar – ‘Tipples of Choice’ this month come in the form of a lightly spiced Caribbean inspired Rum Punch to get you in the party mood, as well as Acoustic Sunday’s now infamous, and most quaffable Home-Brew Ginger Beer made with fair-trade fresh root ginger and lemons will be sure to raise you spirits!

The exuberant, award-winning improviser and stand-up James Ross hailed as ‘One to watch…’ (Daily Mirror) at this year’s Edinburgh Fringe, makes a welcome return as the ‘Master of Ceremonies’, with his unique charm, intellectual wit and satire to humour through the afternoon.
